Steve Bucci

Steve Bucci is in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Stockton University baseball program. During his tenure, the Ospreys have recorded 79 victories, and he was part of the coaching staff that earned NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2023. Bucci contributes to player development, defensive instruction, recruiting, and game preparation, supporting Stockton’s continued competitiveness within the NJAC and NCAA Division III landscape. Prior to joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Bucci served as an assistant varsity baseball coach at Washington Township High School, gaining valuable experience in player development and program support. As a former collegiate catcher at The College of New Jersey, Bucci appeared in 38 games and compiled a .304 batting average with 15 runs and 12 RBI. Defensively, he was highly reliable behind the plate, committing just one error in 197 chances for a .995 fielding percentage. His playing background and coaching experience provide strong technical insight to Stockton’s staff.
