Stephanie Graziani
Head Coach
Stephanie Graziani began her tenure as the 11th head coach of the UNC Pembroke Braves softball program in June 2022, entering her fourth season for 2025-26. Prior to assuming the head coaching role, she served five seasons (2018-22) as an assistant coach with the Braves, during which the Black & Gold achieved nearly 115 victories, logged three overall winning seasons, and saw multiple all-conference and all-America honors earned among players.
A native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Graziani’s playing career began at Iowa Central Community College where she earned NJCAA Second Team All-Region as a freshman and NJCAA First Team All-Region and NFCA First Team All-American as a sophomore. She then completed her collegiate career at Florida Southern College where she excelled as a leadoff hitter and led her team to its first Super Regional appearance. She finished her playing career with 132 stolen bases and a 181-57 overall record. After her playing days she served as assistant coach at Mayville State University for four years before returning to UNC Pembroke. In her first three seasons as head coach at UNCP, Graziani’s teams have shown development, culminating in a 27-25 overall mark and 17-7 conference record in her third season, the program’s most conference wins since 2008.
