Sinead Delahunty Evans is the head coach of women's track and field and an assistant coach for cross country and track and field at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. A Providence alumna, she entered her third season on the Friars' staff in 2026-27 after being elevated to the women's track and field head coaching position and taking on assistant coaching duties with the cross country and track programs.
Delahunty Evans arrived at Providence after one season as an assistant coach at Boston College, where she worked with the women's middle-distance group and contributed to recruiting. At BC, she coached three of the top five runners on the team that finished second at the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Northeast Regional to earn an automatic NCAA Championship berth, and she also coached three members of a distance medley relay squad that set a school record of 10:50.00 and placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston.
