Shelly-Ann Gallimore is the associate head coach for track and field/cross country at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. She entered her 17th season on the Mountaineers' track and field staff after spending two years with the program as a graduate assistant. Her coaching work has centered on the horizontal and vertical jumps, and she also has assisted with management of West Virginia's home meets.
At West Virginia, Gallimore has coached a USA Junior Trials qualifier, NCAA regional qualifiers in the high jump, and NCAA Championship qualifiers in the triple jump. In 2023, she coached Olivia Cress to an All-Big 12 finish in the high jump, where Cress placed sixth at 1.67 meters, and West Virginia finished 17th in the Program of the Year Award standings. In 2022, Peter-Gay McKenzie placed 10th in the long jump at the Big 12 indoor meet, while Abigale Mullings earned two indoor victories and later finished ninth in the high jump at the Big 12 Championship. Mullings followed that with a fifth-place conference finish in 2021, and McKenzie advanced to the East Preliminary in the long jump.
