Shawn Nadelen is the head coach of the Towson University men's lacrosse program in Towson, Maryland, and has led the Tigers since the 2012 season. Through 15 seasons, he has compiled a 137-96 record overall and a 55-27 mark in CAA play, establishing one of the most successful runs in program history. Under Nadelen, Towson has won seven CAA regular-season titles, shared two additional league crowns, captured seven CAA tournament championships, and made seven NCAA tournament appearances. His teams reached the NCAA quarterfinals in 2016 and 2017 and advanced to the national semifinals in 2017.
Nadelen's tenure has been defined by sustained conference success and repeated postseason qualification. He guided Towson to CAA tournament titles in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2024 and 2025, and to regular-season championships in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026. He was the fastest coach in program history to reach 50 Division I wins and later became the second head coach in Towson history to record 100 career victories. His coaching honors include the 2017 USILA Division I Coach of the Year award and CAA Coach of the Year recognition in 2016, 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
