Shaun Aguano serves as Assistant Coach, Running Backs for Arizona State Football. Shaun Aguano, one of the most decorated coaches in Arizona High School football history, joined the Sun Devil football program as running backs coach in January 2019.
Aguano's background includes in Aguano’s first season tutoring the Sun Devil running backs, Eno Benjamin rushed for 1,083 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2019 on his way to earning First Team Pac-12 All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season; in eight seasons as head coach at Chandler High School, Aguano led the Wolves to an 88-19 record and four state championships; in 2018, Aguano won his third consecutive state championship (fourth in five years) as the Wolves rolled to a record-setting 65-28 win over Perry High School in the 2018 6A title game.
