Sharon Baldwin is an assistant coach for the Providence College women's basketball program in Providence, Rhode Island, and entered her second season on Erin Batth's staff. She arrived at Providence with two decades of head coaching experience across the NAIA and NCAA Division I levels.
Baldwin began her Division I head coaching career at Mercer in 2001-02, where the team posted a 10-win improvement, one of the largest turnarounds in the division that season. She then led East Carolina from 2002 to 2010, taking the Pirates to the NCAA Tournament in 2007 after a Conference USA Tournament championship. Her 2009-10 East Carolina team won 23 games, matching the program's best single-season total. Baldwin was the head coach at Georgia State from 2010 to 2018, and Batth worked on her staff there from 2014 to 2017.
