Shannon Coley is the associate head coach for the University of Delaware women's soccer program in Newark, Delaware, a position she was promoted to on March 12, 2026, after serving on the Blue Hens' staff for the previous three years.
Since arriving at Delaware, Coley has been closely tied to one of the program's strongest recent stretches, particularly on the defensive side and in goal. In 2025, Delaware opened 6-0-2, the best start in program history, in its first season in Conference USA and reached a second straight conference tournament, the program's first consecutive appearances since 2012 and 2013. That season, freshman goalkeeper Sophia Hall earned Conference USA All-Rookie recognition and national attention as one of the top freshman goalkeepers in the country.
