Shane Carew serves as Associate Head Coach for University of North Carolina at Charlotte's Men's Soccer program in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In July 2024, Shane Carew was officially promoted to the title of Associate Head Coach for "Recruiting, Player Development, and Alumni/Booster Relations" after serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the prior two seasons. "Shane has headed our recruiting efforts these past two seasons since he rejoined his Alma Mater," Head Coach Kevin Langan said. "In a short amount of time, he has made a huge impact by recruiting and integrating top local and International talent into our program, and this promotion is well deserved.
