Seth Towns ’20 – a former standout for the Crimson and the 2017-18 Ivy League Player of the Year – returned to Harvard University Men’s Basketball as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season and enters his third season as a coach with the program in 2026-27. In the 2025-26 season, Towns served on a coaching staff that earned Ivy League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year honors as Harvard posted a 17-12 overall record and 10-4 Ivy League mark, finishing in second place in the conference standings for its highest league finish since the 2019-20 season. The Crimson qualified for the Ivy League Tournament for the first time since 2020 and competed at the event for the first time since 2019.
