Sean Guthrie is in his second season as Director of Player Development for Boston College football in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. A former Boston College defensive end who went on to play four seasons in the NFL, he works with football student-athletes on their overall development through monthly workshops, small-group discussions, and individual development plans centered on character, leadership, and life skills.
Guthrie graduated from Boston College in 2001 with a degree in accounting. He later earned a Master of Education from Boston College in 2014 and received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the university in 2021.
