Sean Crowell is an assistant coach for the St. John's University softball program in Queens, New York, and is in his third season on the staff. He joined the Red Storm in 2023 after eight years of coaching experience, and in 2025 he was part of the BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year as St. John's set a program record with 39 wins.
Before arriving at St. John's, Crowell spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Brown, where he oversaw recruiting operations and player development and helped mentor 16 All-Ivy League selections. He previously served as an assistant coach at Skidmore College, contributing to a school-record 72 doubles in a season, and began his coaching career at Dutchess Community College as head softball coach and assistant athletic director. Crowell earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ithaca College in 2015 after receiving an associate's degree from Dutchess Community College in 2013.
