Scott Yurgalevicz became head coach of Drexel University's men's golf program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in June 2025. He joined Drexel after nearly a decade as a Division I head coach and while serving as a PGA Golf Instructor at Philadelphia Cricket Club, where he has worked since 2019. A Class A PGA professional, he specializes in swing mechanics, holds multiple certifications, and has coached players ranging from beginners to mini-tour competitors through individualized instruction.
Before arriving at Drexel, Yurgalevicz led both the men's and women's programs at La Salle from 2014 to 2024. During his tenure, La Salle lowered its team scoring average by 27 strokes and posted the lowest scoring average in school history. His student-athletes won nine individual tournament titles, and his teams captured three team championships, the only three in program history at that point, while setting more than 30 school records. He also managed recruiting, operations, travel, budgeting, fundraising, and compliance. Earlier in his career, he taught at LuLu Country Club, Chester Valley Golf Club, and Dupont Country Club, and spent two years as a GolfTEC center manager and coach. A native of Torrington, Connecticut, he graduated from Villanova in 2008 with a degree in philosophy.
