Scott Sullivan
Head Men's Golf Coach
T. Scott Sullivan has served as Head Men’s Golf Coach at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) since the 2018-19 season and also became the program’s Director of Golf (overseeing the women’s program) in the summer of 2023. Under his leadership the Mavericks have qualified for the NCAA South Central/West Regional every season during his tenure, including a second-place finish at the 2022 Regional that advanced the squad to the NCAA Championships for the first time—where they finished 18th.
In the 2024-25 season his team set the program’s scoring record with a 286.03 average, led by All-American Cole Beyer who posted a 69.45 individual average. Sullivan brings a unique background: a former two-time all-conference collegiate golfer at Citrus College, with subsequent national and international competitive play (including five USGA qualifiers, the 2010 U.S. Senior Open, 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur, and British Senior Amateur appearances).Prior to his coaching tenure he worked as a CPA and held executive business roles—including CFO and president of a manufacturing company in Grand Junction—before fully committing to college golf coaching.
