Scott Dicheck
Head Coach
Scott Dicheck is the long-tenured head coach of both the men’s and women’s tennis programs at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), entering his 26th season in that role for the 2025–26 academic year. Since taking over the programs in the fall of 2000, Dicheck has established TCNJ as one of the premier tennis programs in NCAA Division III. He owns a combined career record of 604–203 and has been named New Jersey Athletic Conference Coach of the Year an extraordinary 18 times. On the women’s side, Dicheck ranks second all-time in Division III history for winning percentage and has guided the Lions to an unprecedented 25 consecutive NJAC championships, compiling a flawless 133–0 conference record. His teams have earned NCAA Tournament berths every eligible season, advancing to the national tournament’s second round or beyond consistently while producing numerous conference players of the year and All-America honorees.
Dicheck has also overseen sustained success with the men’s program, amassing more than 250 victories and leading the Lions to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including conference championships and runner-up finishes during recent seasons. In 2024, he was named ITA Northeast Region Men’s Tennis Coach of the Year following a standout campaign against nationally ranked competition. A graduate of Moravian College, where he was a top singles and doubles performer, Dicheck holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and sociology and a master’s degree in sports management. Beyond competition, he is deeply involved in player development, academics, and service to the sport, maintaining a reputation as one of Division III tennis’s most respected and accomplished coaches.
