Savannah Davison is an assistant coach for the University of Massachusetts Amherst women's rowing program in Amherst, Massachusetts, and joined the staff in August 2021 after four years at Saratoga Rowing Association.
At UMass, Davison coached the 1v4+ boat to Atlantic 10 Championship titles in 2024 and 2025. Their work has included biometric data analysis, coaching small boats during the fall, and collaborating with coach Gotsch in the spring on the development of the 3v8+ group. Those efforts coincided with an improvement in the team's conference standing from fourth to second. Davison has also introduced heart-rate testing standards, built data-management processes, and improved team communication systems.
