Sara Pasour
Assistant Coach
Sara Pasour enters her second season as an assistant coach with the UNC Pembroke women’s volleyball program after joining the staff on July 26, 2024. Previously, she served as an assistant coach at Piedmont University for the 2023 season, where her contributions helped the program more than double its win-total and host its first ever home playoff match. Earlier, Pasour worked as a graduate assistant coach at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she also assisted in strength-and-conditioning programming and player nutrition.
As a collegiate athlete, Pasour played four years at Mars Hill University where she started all 96 matches of her career and finished with 81 service aces, 894 digs and 1,728 assists. She earned bachelor’s degree in integrated health science (physical therapy concentration) from Mars Hill in 2021 and completed her master’s degree in kinesiology from UNC Charlotte in 2023. In her role at UNCP, Pasour brings strong experience in player development, setter training, defense and holistic athlete support, contributing to the Braves’ development on the court and in the classroom.
