Sarah Rumely Noble, a former SEC Player of the Year and all-American, has been named the University of South Carolina’s 12th head volleyball coach, athletics director Jeremiah Donati announced Monday, March 31. Rumely Noble comes to Columbia after three seasons as head coach of Appalachian State volleyball and previously spent seven seasons as an assistant coach in the SEC following a hall of fame playing career at Kentucky. Having been a player and assistant coach in the SEC, she knows what it takes to be successful in our league.
