Sarah Jenkins is the head coach of the University of Delaware women's basketball program in Newark, Delaware. A former Delaware associate head coach, she was appointed on April 3, 2022, as the fifth head coach in program history, and the 2026-27 season is her fifth leading the Blue Hens.
In her time as Delaware's head coach, Jenkins has overseen multiple all-conference and all-rookie selections, including Kailah Correa, Tara Cousins, Lay Fantroy, Klarke Sconiers, and Ande'a Cherisier. Cousins also received the CAA Dean Ehlers Leadership Award in 2022-23. Her teams have produced strong offensive results, topping 80 points a dozen times and reaching 70 points on 43 occasions. Delaware also led its conference in several statistical categories during her tenure, including three-point percentage twice, along with field goal percentage, field goal percentage defense, rebounds per game, and defensive rebounds per game. Under Jenkins, the Blue Hens have won conference tournament games in both the CAA and Conference USA, including a CAA quarterfinal appearance in 2024-25 and a first-round victory in Delaware's first CUSA season in 2025-26.
