Sarah Dalton Graddock is the head coach of the University of Vermont women's lacrosse team in Burlington, Vermont, and was slated to begin her seventh season in 2023. A Vermont native, she has led a steady rise for the Catamounts, highlighted by a breakthrough 2022 campaign in which Vermont won the first America East championship in program history and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time. That team finished 14-5, the best record the program had posted, and Dalton Graddock was named IWLCA Northeast Coach of the Year.
Her tenure at Vermont has included several other program milestones. In 2021, the Catamounts earned their first America East playoff berth since 2016 and finished 6-6 overall with a 6-3 conference mark to secure the No. 3 seed. By that point in her time at UVM, she had already moved to third on the school's all-time wins list. Vermont went 4-4 in the shortened 2020 season, and in 2019 the program recorded eight wins, its highest total in five years. Early in her tenure, the team also posted one of the top single-season win improvements in Division I and matched Boston College for the best improvement among New England programs.
