Sara Carver-Milne
Associate Head Coach
Sara Carver-Milne enters the 2025-26 season as Associate Head Coach for Auburn gymnastics, her fourth year with the program. She leads the Tigers’ beam unit while contributing across all events, including floor choreography, detail refinement, and even designing the team’s annual leotard collection. Under her direction, Auburn’s beam squad has become one of the program’s strengths, finishing among the nation’s top teams. In 2025, the Tigers posted a 49.385 National Qualifying Score (NQS) on beam, ranking in the top 10 nationally. Multiple gymnasts thrived under her guidance, including Gabby McLaughlin, who advanced to the NCAA Championships as an individual, and standout performances from Marissa Neal and Paige Zancan.
Before arriving at Auburn, Carver-Milne spent 21 seasons at Brown University, where she served as head coach and elevated the Bears to record-breaking performances. She earned ECAC Head Coach of the Year honors twice and led Brown to an ECAC Championship and multiple Ivy League titles. Her tenure featured numerous individual conference champions, NCAA regional qualifiers, and USAG All-Americans, including Olympian Alicia Sacramone. A former NCAA gymnast at Alaska-Anchorage, Carver-Milne brings decades of coaching and competitive experience to Auburn. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Communications and is widely respected for her technical expertise and athlete-centered leadership approach.
