Samantha Nadel is the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for George Washington University's men's and women's cross country and track and field programs in Washington, D.C. She joined the GW staff in fall 2021 as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator before being promoted to associate head coach.
Before arriving at George Washington, Nadel worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an assistant distance coach for the men's and women's programs, where she helped recruit two nationally regarded classes. At GW, she contributed to a period of notable success for the program. The women's cross country team won the first Atlantic 10 title in program history in 2021 and finished second at the conference meet in 2023, while the men placed fourth at the A-10 Championships in 2022 and 2024. On the track, athletes she has coached have included four A-10 champions, 27 all-conference performers, and three NCAA Outdoor Championship qualifiers over four seasons.
