Samantha Buccheri has served as administrative assistant for the University of Connecticut men's basketball program in Storrs, Connecticut, since December 2023. She oversees office operations in the Werth Champions Center and supports scheduling, team travel, daily operations, alumni relations, and family needs for the program.
A UConn graduate, Buccheri returned to Storrs after six years with Hartford-based IT services and consulting firm Tallan, where she worked as a marketing manager and event manager. Her work there included marketing strategy, partner collaboration, social media development, and coordinating more than two events per month. Before that, she spent four years with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, contributing to event management, fundraising, and content creation. Buccheri earned bachelor's degrees in communications and English from Connecticut in 2009.
