Ryan Smith serves as Special Teams Coordinator for East Carolina University's Football program in Greenville, North Carolina.
Ryan Smith is in his first year as the Senior Special Teams Analyst at East Carolina, a position he officially began on Feb. Smith returns to East Carolina after working the last two-plus years at the University of Minnesota (2022-25) serving as special teams’ quality control. In that role, he was responsible for scouting and break down of the special teams’ units, organizes and coordinated scout special team units, coached unit specific fundamental drills while assisting in the coaching of all special team members.
