Ryan Potter is the Lyons Family Associate Head Coach for Wake Forest women's golf in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and is entering his 10th season on the staff after joining the program in January 2017. He spent the 2017-18 season as an assistant coach before being elevated to associate head coach in the summer of 2018.
At Wake Forest, Potter has been part of one of the most successful stretches in program history. Working alongside head coach Kim Lewellen, he helped the Demon Deacons win the 2023 NCAA championship, the first national title for the school's women's golf program. Wake Forest also captured ACC titles in 2019, 2022, and 2024 during his tenure, reached the NCAA Championship match in 2019, and advanced to the NCAA Championship in six straight seasons. The 2022-23 team won a program-record five regular-season tournaments, while the 2023-24 squad added four more titles and secured the program's eighth ACC championship.
