Ryan McCormack has served as Director of Scouting for the University of Rhode Island football program in Kingston, Rhode Island, since the spring of 2025. He arrived at Rhode Island after 11 seasons at UMass Dartmouth, where he closed his tenure as running backs coach and recruiting coordinator. While with the Corsairs, he recruited players from New England, New York, Louisiana, and Florida, and was part of a run that included three straight MASCAC championships from 2022 through 2024, playoff appearances in 2022 and 2024, New England Bowl berths in 2021 and 2023, and a New England Bowl title in 2021.
Before UMass Dartmouth, McCormack was defensive coordinator at Mt. Hope High School for two seasons, with the team reaching the Rhode Island State Playoffs in both 2012 and 2013. He also spent one season at Rogers High School between two separate periods on the staff at Middletown High.
