Ryan Lundgren is the associate head coach for the Eastern Washington University men’s basketball program, entering his second season with the Eagles. In his role, he oversees the team’s offensive system while also directing recruiting and NIL operations. Lundgren made an immediate impact in his first season, helping develop key players and contributing to standout individual performances, including a breakout year from transfer Andrew Cook, who ranked among the Big Sky Conference leaders in several statistical categories.
Prior to joining Eastern Washington, Lundgren served as the head coach at Carroll College during the 2023–24 season, where he led the Saints to a strong 19–12 overall record and a deep run in the Frontier Conference Tournament, culminating in an NAIA National Tournament appearance. His coaching résumé also includes a successful stint as associate head coach at the College of Southern Idaho, where he helped guide the program to an undefeated 29–0 regular season and a No. 1 national ranking in 2022–23. Lundgren began his career at Boise State as director of player development and later gained head coaching experience at Vallivue High School, where he earned Idaho Coach of the Year honors. Known for his offensive acumen and player development skills, he brings a well-rounded and proven coaching background to the Eagles.
