Ryan Humphrey serves as Assistant Coach for University of Oklahoma's Men's Basketball program in Norman, Oklahoma. A former Oklahoma standout as a player in the late 1990s, Ryan Humphrey returned to OU as an assistant coach on July 1, 2022. Humphrey started his collegiate with the Sooners in the 1997-98 season after being named a McDonald's All-American at Booker T.
He joined the OU coaching staff in 2022 following a six-year stint as an assistant coach at Notre Dame. In his first season with the Fighting Irish, Humphrey was instrumental in the development of All-American and All-ACC forward Bonzie Colson. Colson averaged a double-double (points and rebounds) in 2016-17 and tallied career highs in points, rebounds and blocked shots under Humphrey's tutelage. In 2018-19, he aided in the growth of John Mooney, who led the ACC in rebounds.
