Ryan Hulings is an assistant coach for the University of Massachusetts Amherst women's soccer program in Amherst, Massachusetts, joining the staff in June 2026. He arrived after spending the 2025 season at Army as an assistant coach with the men's program, where he served as the primary goalkeeping coach. Army finished 7-6-5 overall and 5-3-1 in Patriot League play, returned to the Patriot League Tournament as the No. 3 seed for the first time since 2022, and posted a 4-0 victory over Navy in Philadelphia, the largest margin in Army-Navy Cup history. His goalkeepers produced a .784 save percentage that ranked second in the conference and 28th nationally, and Michale Guiry recorded seven shutouts.
Before Army, Hulings spent two seasons at Kentucky as an assistant coach. His responsibilities included goalkeeper development, recruiting management, game preparation, and performance technology. Kentucky reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament and earned regular-season wins over No. 1 Marshall and No. 2 West Virginia, becoming the first NCAA Division I team to defeat the sitting No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the same season. He also coached Casper Mols, who was selected by Atlanta United FC in the third round of the 2024 Adidas MLS SuperDraft.
