Ronnie Ladines is the head softball coach at Central Washington University, entering her first season leading the Wildcats program. A native of Arlington, Washington, she returns to her home state after establishing herself as a promising collegiate coach with experience across multiple levels of NCAA softball. Prior to arriving in Ellensburg, Ladines served as the interim head coach at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where she guided the Rattlers to notable success against nationally ranked competition and helped develop four All-Conference student-athletes during her tenure.
Ladines brings a diverse coaching résumé that includes stops at the University of Akron, Utah Valley University, and the University of Texas at San Antonio. She played a significant role in player development, particularly with pitchers and catchers, and contributed to postseason appearances at multiple programs. At St. Mary’s, she helped lead the team to a strong 2024 season that included a conference tournament victory and NCAA Division II Tournament berth, before stepping into the interim head coach role in 2025. As a former standout two-way player at Kent State University, Ladines compiled a 2.81 ERA and hit .261 with 20 home runs, helping her team secure conference titles and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Her combined playing and coaching experience shapes a leadership style centered on competitiveness, development, and resilience.
