Rod Chance is the assistant coach for pass game coordination and cornerbacks for the University of Connecticut football program in Storrs, Connecticut, joining the staff in 2026.
Before arriving at UConn, Chance spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons at Oregon State, first as secondary coach and then as co-defensive coordinator. One of his players, Skyler Thomas, led the Beavers with 81 tackles in 2025. He previously coached cornerbacks at Colorado in 2022, when the Buffaloes recorded six interceptions and 33 passes defended.
