Rob O'Driscoll is an assistant coach for the University of Maine men's basketball program in Orono, Maine, a position he has held since May 2022. Since joining the staff, he has been part of a turnaround that saw Maine increase its win total from 13 to 15 to 20 over three seasons. In 2024-25, the Black Bears finished 20-14 overall and 10-6 in America East play, giving the program its second winning season in 21 years, its best conference record in 15 seasons, its highest single-season win total in 25 years, and its first trip to the America East championship game in 21 seasons.
Across his Division I coaching career, O'Driscoll has contributed to 17 winning seasons, 10 seasons with at least 20 victories, three regular-season conference titles, five conference tournament championships, and 10 postseason appearances, including six NCAA Tournaments. He has also been credited with recruiting and developing 65 all-conference selections, along with two players of the year, three rookies of the year, and three defensive players of the year.
