RJ Bell is an assistant coach for the Duquesne University women's basketball program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is entering his fourth season in that position and sixth overall on the staff in 2026-27. After spending two years as a graduate student with the program, he was elevated to assistant coach before the 2023-24 season.
Bell has worked extensively on the offensive side for Duquesne. In 2025-26, his first season as offensive coordinator, the Dukes became one of the Atlantic 10's best three-point shooting teams, ranking third in the conference in made threes per game and producing nine games with at least 10 three-pointers, including a 17-make performance in a win over Pitt. That offense featured Alexis Bordas, who led the A-10 in made threes per game and finished among the national leaders, and Mackenzie Blackford, who ranked near the top of the conference in both threes per game and total makes.
