Ricky Fried is an assistant coach for Towson University women's lacrosse in Towson, Maryland, a position he joined in June 2026.
Fried came to Towson after a long tenure at Georgetown, where he spent two seasons as an assistant before serving as head coach from 2005 through 2024. He finished as the winningest coach in program history with a 196-156 overall record and a 94-31 mark in Big East regular-season play. His Georgetown teams won seven Big East regular-season titles, captured conference tournament championships in 2010 and 2019, and made nine NCAA tournament appearances, including two trips to the national quarterfinals. He also coached 23 All-Americans and helped develop numerous all-conference and major award winners, while he and his staff were twice recognized as Big East Staff of the Year.
