Rebecca Lane is an assistant coach for the Towson University women's lacrosse team in Towson, Maryland. She joined Towson after spending one season as an assistant coach at William & Mary, where the Tribe posted its best record in recent years and its highest Coastal Athletic Association win total since 2011. Lane began her coaching career as a student assistant at Saint Joseph's, her alma mater.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Lane also brings an accomplished international and collegiate playing background. She has represented the Senior Australian National Team, served as co-captain of Australia's bronze medal team at the 2022 World Games, and helped the national team place fourth at the 2022 World Lacrosse Championships. She previously played for Australia's U19 team in 2011 and 2015, earning co-captain honors, All-World recognition, and multiple game MVP awards in 2015. At Saint Joseph's, Lane was a two-time Atlantic 10 selection, including first-team honors in 2018, and finished her career as the program's all-time leader in assists with 84 while ranking second in points and fifth in goals.
