Rasheed Marshall is the director of player relations for West Virginia's football program in Morgantown, West Virginia, a position he assumed in March 2023. A former West Virginia quarterback, he works across a wide range of student-athlete support areas, maintaining a daily presence around the program and coordinating matters that include team roll calls, transfer onboarding, player housing, and mental health education. He also works with the head coach on leadership council activities, counseling and educational meetings, and the Big Brother program, while serving as a liaison to offices and services such as financial aid, student conduct, housing, counseling, campus recreation, law enforcement, and other student support units. In addition, he supports the 5th Quarter program and its educational programming in character, leadership, life skills, social responsibility, and career development.
Before returning to West Virginia, Marshall worked in Pittsburgh as a personal trainer with Team Marshall Fitness beginning in 2013. He also served as a regional head quarterbacks coach for Sports International Academy and worked as an on-air football analyst for ESPN+ and AT&T SportsNet starting in 2015.
