Randy Javier Schneider is the associate head coach for the University of Pittsburgh women's basketball program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 2026-27 season marks his 20th year coaching alongside Harmony and his first in the associate head coach role at Pitt.
Before arriving at Pitt, Schneider spent seven seasons at Charleston, where the program posted three straight 20-win seasons beginning in 2023-24 and finished his tenure with consecutive 25-win campaigns. Charleston went 27-7 in 2025-26, winning both the CAA regular-season and tournament titles. Schneider also worked with guard Taryn Barbot, who earned CAA Rookie of the Year honors in 2024 and was named CAA Player of the Year in both 2025 and 2026. Barbot became the fastest player in Charleston history, men's or women's, to reach 1,000 career points.
