Raman Sposato is an assistant coach for the University at Buffalo men's basketball team in Buffalo, New York, and is in his first season on head coach George Halcovage III's staff after being hired in April. He arrived at Buffalo after two seasons as an assistant coach at Denver, where he contributed to the development of Robert Jones and Ade Murkey, the latter earning Second Team All-Summit League honors after averaging 18.6 points per game, the highest mark by a Denver player in more than 15 years.
Before Denver, Sposato spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Tulane under Mike Dunleavy Sr., handling practice planning, skill development, scouting, game preparation, and recruiting. His earlier experience includes a 2015-16 stint as a regional scout for the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets, a season as an assistant coach with the 2015 NBA Development League champion Santa Cruz Warriors, eight seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers in player development, and a start in the NBA with the Portland Trail Blazers as a video coordinator in 2003.
