Prince Borde
Head Coach
Prince Borde enters his third season as head coach of the Alabama A&M University women’s soccer program, continuing to build momentum within the Southwestern Athletic Conference. In his second season, he guided the Bulldogs to a 7-11-1 overall record and a 4-3-1 mark in SWAC play, advancing to the conference semifinals for the first time since 2021. The 2024 squad won three of its final four regular-season matches, including a key 2-1 victory over rival Alabama State to secure the No. 4 seed in the tournament. Alabama A&M defeated Jackson State in the quarterfinals before falling to top-seeded Texas Southern. Under Borde’s leadership, multiple players earned conference recognition, including the SWAC Midfielder of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and several All-SWAC selections.
Before arriving in Huntsville, Borde served as an assistant coach at Jacksonville University, where he managed day-to-day operations, recruiting, and game planning while helping the program secure its first winning season and conference berth in nearly a decade. He also gained international experience as head coach of the Antigua Women’s National Team, leading the squad to historic World Cup qualification success. Previously, Borde rebuilt programs at Brewton-Parker, Trinity Baptist, and Louisiana Christian, earning conference Coach of the Year honors and guiding teams from winless seasons to championship contention. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Palm Beach Atlantic and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan.
