Pierre-Olivier Lassalle

Pierre-Olivier Lassalle serves as an assistant coach for the Eckerd College tennis programs in St. Petersburg, Florida, contributing to both the men’s and women’s teams under Head Coach Ben Maxwell. In his role, Lassalle supports daily coaching, player development, and competitive preparation for Triton student-athletes across NCAA Division II Sunshine State Conference play. His presence on the coaching staff helps with strategy, practice organization, and mentoring players as they balance academics and athletics. Before transitioning to coaching, Lassalle was a standout player for Eckerd College’s men’s tennis team. During his collegiate playing career, he achieved notable success in both singles and doubles competition, including earning All-SSC honors and national recognition in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings. His strong performance on court translates into valuable insight and experience for the players he coaches today. Lassalle’s connection with the Tritons program as both a former student-athlete and coach reflects his deep commitment to Eckerd tennis.
