Phil Wambach

Phil Wambach is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Stockton University men’s lacrosse program. A former Osprey student-athlete, Wambach brings firsthand experience with the program’s culture and competitive expectations. In his role, he assists with defensive development, practice organization, scouting, and game preparation, supporting Stockton’s continued success in conference play and postseason competition. Wambach competed for Stockton during the 2020 and 2021 seasons after transferring from Temple University. As a defender, he appeared in four games off the bench and contributed to the team during a period that included a COVID-shortened campaign. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/Finance from Stockton in 2021. Transitioning from player to coach, Wambach provides mentorship and technical instruction to current student-athletes while helping maintain the program’s standards of discipline and growth.
