Philip Bannister is the associate head coach for Fordham University men's soccer in Bronx, New York, and entered his eighth season on the Rams' staff in 2026. He spent his first three seasons at Fordham as an assistant coach before being elevated to associate head coach in spring 2022.
Since Bannister joined the program, Fordham has posted a 46-40-33 overall record and a 26-14-16 mark in Atlantic 10 play. The Rams reached the NCAA Tournament in 2020-21 and 2024, qualified for six of seven possible Atlantic 10 Championships, and advanced to at least the conference semifinals five times. In 2020-21, Fordham won the program's fourth Atlantic 10 title after an unbeaten regular season, then defeated Saint Louis and George Washington in the league tournament before falling in overtime to eventual national champion Marshall in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
