Peyton Ehmke is an assistant coach for the George Mason University women's volleyball program in Fairfax, Virginia, returning to the Patriots staff on March 26, 2024. Before rejoining George Mason, she was part of the Davidson College women's volleyball staff for the 2023 season, when the Wildcats finished 19-10 overall and 11-7 in Atlantic 10 play. At Davidson, she worked primarily with the middles and opposites and focused on offense and blocking. The team's middles ranked first and third in the conference in hitting percentage, and she also worked with Bella Brady, a three-time Atlantic 10 Libero of the Year.
Ehmke previously served as George Mason's graduate assistant during the 2023 spring season. She also has an extensive playing background with the Patriots, where she was a five-year letterwinner and four-year captain. Ehmke appeared in 127 matches for George Mason and closed her career having played in 71 straight matches. A native of San Clemente, California, she earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors in 2018 and led the conference in total blocks and blocks per set in her final season.
