Quaterback Coach
Pep Hamilton has built a reputation as one of the more respected offensive minds in modern American football. He played quarterback at Howard University (1993–1996), where he was honored with the school’s scholar-athlete award in 1995 and 1996. After graduating, he started his coaching career at Howard as quarterbacks coach in 1997, and later became the offensive coordinator before making the leap into the NFL and major college ranks. Over the years, Hamilton has held coaching positions with multiple NFL franchises (including the Colts, Texans, Chargers) and at top collegiate programs (Stanford, Michigan). University of Maryland Athletics. In 2020, he served as head coach and general manager for the DC Defenders in the XFL, further expanding his leadership roles. In February 2025, he was appointed Offensive Coordinator & Quarterbacks Coach at Maryland, bringing his wealth of experience to the Terrapins.
