Paul Fortier is an assistant men's basketball coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position he has held since joining Zach Spiker's staff in April 2016.
Before arriving at Drexel, Fortier was the associate head coach at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, where he spent three seasons under Joe Callero. At Cal Poly, his work centered on recruiting and the development of the frontcourt. The Mustangs won the 2014 Big West championship, reached the NCAA Tournament, and earned the program's first NCAA Tournament victory with a First Four win over Texas Southern. During his time there, Cal Poly also became one of the league's best defensive teams and showed steady improvement in rebounding and blocked shots. In 2014-15, forward Brian Bennett received All-Big West recognition, and Joel Awich ranked among the conference leaders in blocks.
