Paul Caddy is the head coach of the University of Connecticut field hockey program in Storrs, Connecticut, and completed his sixth season in that position in 2025 after being named the school's fourth head coach in 2020.
Caddy has spent 25 seasons on the UConn staff, including 10 as associate head coach, and has been closely tied to many of the program's biggest achievements. Before becoming head coach, he was part of three NCAA national championship teams in 2013, 2014, and 2017, including UConn's undefeated 23-0 season in 2017. Across his tenure, UConn has reached eight NCAA Final Fours, made another Elite Eight run in 2025, and won 33 BIG EAST regular-season and tournament championships. In 2024, the Huskies finished 17-4, earned a No. 3 overall NCAA seed, claimed the program's 42nd BIG EAST title, and Caddy shared BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors, an award he also received in 2013, 2014, and 2017.
