Paul Allbright is the head coach of George Washington's women's rowing program in Washington, D.C., and is in his third season in the role in 2025-26. A native of the Washington metropolitan area, he arrived at GW after serving at Georgetown, where he was the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for the women's team.
Allbright has coached rowing in the region for more than 16 years. He founded Resilient Rowing Club in Fairfax, Virginia, and previously served as executive director of Northern Virginia Rowing Club in Occoquan, Virginia, and head rowing coach at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia. In the high school ranks, he was named The Washington Post All-Met Women's Rowing Coach of the Year in 2011 and coached athletes to 13 Virginia State Championship medals as well as multiple USRowing Youth National and Club National Championship medals. He lives in Fairfax Station, Virginia, with his wife, Leah, and their two sons.
