Pat Skerry is the head coach of the Towson University men's basketball team in Towson, Maryland, a position he has held since April 5, 2011. He arrived as the program's 13th head coach after Towson had posted 15 consecutive losing seasons, and he has since overseen one of the most successful extended periods in school history. By the end of the 2025-26 season, Towson had won at least 18 games in 11 of his 14 seasons, a striking contrast to the program's record before his arrival, when the Tigers had reached that mark only nine times in the previous 53 years. His teams have also combined competitive results with strong academic performance, including the highest Graduation Success Rate in the CAA.
Skerry's most recent championship season came in 2024-25, when Towson won the CAA regular-season title after going 22-11 overall and 16-2 in league play. The Tigers put together a 12-game conference winning streak that year, and Skerry was named CAA Coach of the Year for the second time. Towson's postseason honors also included Tyler Tejada as CAA Player of the Year and Nendah Tarke as CAA Sixth Man of the Year.
