Patrick McCain is the assistant director of operations for West Virginia University football in Morgantown, West Virginia, a position he has held since 2025. He oversees the team's daily calendar and supports travel planning for away games, including transportation, lodging, air travel, police escorts, and travel-party logistics. McCain also helps coordinate football events such as summer camps and coaches' clinics, manages mass communication with players and staff, and assists with family communication and training-table meal planning.
Before joining West Virginia, he spent three years as assistant director of football operations at Jacksonville State after serving there as a graduate assistant and student assistant. A native of Orlando, Florida, he earned a bachelor's degree in public relations in 2020 and a master's degree in sport management in 2022 from Jacksonville State.
