Pardis Kianoush
Volunteer Assistant Coach
Pardis Kianoush has served on the UAB women’s tennis coaching staff since July 2018 and currently holds the role of Volunteer Assistant Coach. After serving as an assistant coach from 2018 through the 2021 season, she transitioned into the volunteer role in Fall 2021 and has continued in that capacity through 2026. A former standout student-athlete for the Blazers from 2013-17, Kianoush competed primarily at the No. 1 position in singles and doubles under head coach Mark Tjia. She compiled 40 singles victories and 47 doubles wins during her collegiate career, earning All-Conference USA honors in all four seasons.
Kianoush made program history as the first Blazer since 2001 to earn First Team All-Conference honors and to receive all-conference recognition in four consecutive seasons. As a senior, she achieved a national singles ranking of No. 88, becoming the first nationally ranked UAB player since 2001. She also played a key role in UAB’s first Conference USA Tournament victory in nearly a decade in 2014. A native of Brighton, England, Kianoush was a four-time U18 national team champion before arriving at UAB. She graduated in 2017 with a degree in kinesiology and later pursued her MBA at UAB’s Collat School of Business.
